Paper Forum on System Operations and Control Centers at PESGM2012

July 26, 2012, San Diego, CA -- The Control Centers Working Group of the IEEE Power Engineering Society (PES) Power System Operations Committee sponsored the PSO Forum on System Operations and Control Centers paper session on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the PESGM2012 in San Diego, CA. The session, co-chaired by Dr. Savu C. Savulescu, from Energy Consulting International, Inc., New York, NY and, respectively, Dr. Yousu Chen, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Richland, Washington, provided ... well, a forum for presenting the results of recent research in the field of system operations and control centers.

The session was well attended and encompassed brief presentations, followed by detailed technical discussions, of the following papers:
